I’ve created a playlist called “The Basics” on Youtube.  This is the basics of Nonviolent Communication in just 30 minutes!  A great way to quickly get introduced to, or to introduce others, to Nonviolent Communication.  I’ve then created a second playlist called “The Principles” which goes into some of the underlying beliefs that Nonviolent Communication rests upon.

  • On May 11th, 2016, I was interviewed by Dr. G on her radio program Heart to Heart on 95.7 KDRT.  We discussed communication: how to express yourself with compassion, how to be engaged while listening, and what to do when you’re too mad to talk.  You can find that radio discussion here.
  • On January 21st, 2014, I was interviewed by All Treatment, a website dedicated to making it easier for people to find useful and trusted information on addiction and addiction recovery.  You can find that interview here.
  • On September 17th, 2012, Darrell Becker of Voluntary Visions interviewed me about Nonviolent Communication.  This is a great interview if you’re interested in learning more about what Nonviolent Communication is, and some of the basics of NVC consciousness.

  • My Practicing Nonviolent Communication Workshop at Students for Sensible Drug Policy conference. March 25th, 2012 in Denver, CO.

Twice a month I lead a free Compassionate Communication Practice Group. Open to those new and advanced students. We meet on the First and Third Monday of the month at 6 pm. We gather at 640 Hawthorn Lane in classroom 8. Classrooms are behind the church and to the left, next to the parking lot. Practice Group sessions usually run for 2 hours.

The next one will be on July 6th at 6 pm.
